How to Make Easy Hummus FREE Recipe

Learn how to make this simple, healthy and delicious snack at home! It is healthier and more affordable to make it yourself! Serve it with fresh veggies and crackers, or use it as a delicious sandwich spread. You can’t go wrong with hummus! Change it up with different garnishes, too! I love to sprinkle chopped pimento, olives or green onions on top.

What you will need:
3 cans garbanzo beans, liquid from one can reserved
1 clove fresh garlic
2 TBSP tahini
2 TBSP fresh squeezed lemon juice
salt to taste
1 TBSP garlic oil (optional)
Finely chop 1 clove of fresh garlic.
Add 2 TBSP tahini (sesame paste)
Add 3 cans garbanzo beans (reserve liquid from 1 can)
Add 2 TBSP fresh lemon juice.
Add salt to taste (I prefer Himalayan Pink Salt for the health benefits)
Pulse until almost smooth.
Add reserved bean liquid.
Add 1 TBSP garlic oil (optional)
Pulse until very smooth.
Taste. Adjust for seasoning (lemon and salt)
Suggestion: Garnish with chopped olives, spices and green onions.
