How to Make Pineapple Salsa

Pineapple is a very healthy fruit. Pineapples can help reduce the risk of macular degeneration, a disease that affects the eyes as people age, due to the high amount of vitamin C and the antioxidants it contains. Pineapple is also a natural source of the following vitamins and minerals: thiamin, riboflavin, vitamin B6, folate, pantothenic acid, magnesium, manganese, and potassium.

Pineapple Salsa Recipe

What you will need:
1 pineapple, chopped
1 large red onion, chopped
1/2 jalapeƱo, finely chopped (more or less depending on your heat preference)
1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes, chopped
1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
3 limes, juiced
Himalayan pink salt, to taste

  1. Cut pineapple in half lengthwise and carefully scoop all the fruit out. Save pineapple boats for serving.

  2. Chop all ingredients.

  3. Juice limes.

  4. Mix all ingredients together.

  5. Serve salsa in pineapple boats.
