Be So Bare Yarn

Be So Bare is 100% organic cotton, sport weight and made completely in the USA. It is available undyed only. You can learn about naturally vegetable dyeing this yarn from Kristin, or feature this creamy natural yarn in all its bohemian glory.

It is handpainted in Kristin's studio in Bonita Springs, Florida in limited edition, small batch colorways, inspired by the whims of Kristin's creative mind. Kristin dyes these beauties with low water immersion - an eco-friendly technique.

Be So Brave Yarn

Be So Brave Yarn is 100% American Merino Yarn, worsted weight and made completely in the USA. This luxuriously soft and lofty, worsted weight wool yarn is annually harvested from American Merino sheep by hand picked shearers. From processing to manufacturing, every process of the wool is exclusively done on US soil. Kristin works closely with a world renowned dyer in Maine to create the luscious, saturated palette of colors for Be So Brave Yarn.

Be So Dazzling Yarn

Be So Dazzling Yarn is a luxurious novelty yarn that has the most brilliant sequins. Carry it along with another yarn for a spectacular sparkle or knit or crochet with it like you would lace weight yarn. This yarn is a show stopper on its own or accompanied with other yarns. Available in silver or gold.

Each 25 gm spool has 100 yards.

 


Be So Fine Yarn

Be So Fine Yarn is 100% bamboo yarn, fingering weight. This lustrous and silky soft yarn gets even drapier and silkier after hand-washing in your favorite delicate wash. The colors are bright, saturated and inspired by tropical flowers and the sea.

Why should you buy bamboo? The raw material comes exclusively from the pulp of bamboo trees gown under sustainable agricultural practices. Because the fiber is consistently lighter than the pulp taken from other plant based fibers, the productions subject to less chemical treatment than that usually applied to the production of common rayon. And, it has the sheen and drape of silk, but at a more economical price and plant based.

 


Be So Fresh Yarn is a sport weight, wet spun, euroflax linen. It is sold in 4oz hanks of 300 yards each, and wound into a center pull ball at no additional charge. Be So Fresh Yarn is sold in 3 colors: a neutral Sand Dollar, a crisp Foam and a saturated Night.

The weight and yardage of Be So Fresh Yarn is comparable to both Be So Serene Yarn and Be So Sporty Yarn and therefore Be So Fresh Yarn could easily be substituted for those patterns. The best advice for substituting yarn is to always make a swatch and measure the gauge after blocking. Due to the fact that all three of the sport weight yarns are made of different fibers, they will all react to water differently.

Be So Serene Yarn

Be So Serene Yarn is 100% organic cotton, hand dyed and completely made in the USA. Each gorgeous color is hand dyed by Kristin Omdahl in Bonita Springs, Florida in muted, semi-solid colors using low-immersion water dyeing, an eco-friendly technique.

Be So Serene Yarn is sport weight (#2 fine) and comes in 315 yard (288m) per 4oz (113gm) center pull balls.

Be So Soulful Yarn

Be So Soulful Yarn is #2 fine, sock weight yarn. 87% bamboo, 13& sorona. Each 4oz center pull ball has 380 yards. 

Sorona an eco-efficient performance fiber. We use it in place of nylon in our sock yarn because of its enormous benefits including the fact It is based from corn and not petroleum - giving it a significantly reduced carbon footprint compared to nylon. It is what adds the stretch to the yarn and makes it perfect for socks! Sorona is extremely soft yet extremely durable. Sonora is insulating, quick dry, and It adds a loftiness to the bamboo. Bamboo is anti-microbial, moisture wicking and cool. We blend these two fibers together to create a fantastic sock yarn.

Be So Soulful Yarn is also machine washable and dry-able on gentle and low heat settings. As with any delicate handmade item, washing with Wrapture all natural delicate was is recommended.

What does low impact dyes mean? A low-impact dye is a dye that has been classified by the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 (an international certification process) as eco-friendly. Generally, low impact dyes do not contain toxic chemicals or mordants (which fix the dye to the fabric) and require far less rinsing which uses far less water than traditional dyeing production.
