As you may know, I've been involved with the yarn industry for a really long time. March will be my 14th year anniversary! I have worked with yarn from so many different perspectives. I researched for many years and thought long and hard about whether or not I could make a difference in an already abundant market. I am proud to say that each and every yarn in the family of Kristin Omdahl Yarns is 100% thoughtfully sourced and 100% gorgeous.

Learn more about each of our 8 yarns below, and click on any image to read more about them. You can also see the hundreds of FREE knitting and crochet patterns available specifically for these yarns. These links will direct you to a NEW PAGE on my website, that gives you a wealth of information about yarn. Or, click here to be directed to the Kristin Omdahl Store.

I always dreamed of starting a charity, even long before I dreamed of owning a yarn company. The connection between Project Kristin Cares and Kristin Omdahl Yarns fills me with such a sense of pride.

I get emails all the time from people who share with me how much they appreciate Projects Kristin Cares, but even more importantly, that it sparks a desire in them to be more charitable, too. I have customers who donate my yarns to their local shelters and volunteer to teach the women there how to knit and crochet. I have customers who donate their finished projects in my yarns to silent auction benefits for their local shelters. Sometimes I burst into tears when I read these emails. It is a feeling I've never experienced in my life. I know how to work hard and do good things. What I never expected it that I could spark that same feeling in others.

If you know of a shelter who is interested in joining Project Kristin Cares, please invite them to fill out an application form here.

May I present to you the family of Kristin Omdahl Yarns (in alphabetical order):

xoxo, Kristin

P.S. As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me.
