What you will need:

  • 852 yds (779 m) dk weight yarn color A

  • 1420 yds (1298 m) dk weight yarn color B

  • K/10.5 (6.5 mm) crochet hook

  • Yarn needle

  • Scissors

Shown in:

  • 10 balls Be So Baby Yarn, 100% milk fiber, 142 yds (130 m) per 50 gm ball; color A Platinum

  • 6 balls Be So Baby Yarn, 100% milk fiber, 142 yds (130 m) per 50 gm ball; color B Snowflake

Note: The yarn is doubled throughout this project. Dk weight yarn doubled is the equivalent of a #5 Bulky yarn carried single, using half the yardage suggested above.

Finished Size:

32 in (81 cm) square, not including 3 in (7.5 cm) fringe edging

Gauge:

Each motif is 8 in (20 cm) square, but gauge is not critical for this project.

Stitch Guide:

Slst, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, dc2tog, and dc3tog.

Instructions:

Note: The yarn is doubled throughout the entire project. It is helpful to wind two balls of yarn together to create a doubled yarn ball in order to reduce the number of strands of yarn that could tangle in your project bag.
