Sea Glass Secrets Mystery Crochet Along #5 MCAL | Flower Square

It’s time for Part 5 of the Sea Glass Secrets Mystery Crochet-Along (MCAL)! ✨ The Flower Square is inspired by Tess’s new beginning in The Sea Glass Journal — where she inherits a quaint cottage and fills it with flowering plants and hope — this square blooms with meaning. Petals radiate from the center, symbolizing renewal, resilience, and the beauty of fresh starts. Worked in simple stitches, the design is versatile: make it as part of the MCAL, join it into blankets and shawls, or enjoy it as a standalone motif.

Yarn:

I used Lion Brand One Pound Yarn (worsted weight) for this tutorial. You can use any yarn and crochet hook appropriate for that weight yarn.

Note: For a beginning chain, I like to use a larger hook for hte chain, then switch to my regular hook size for the remainder of the project. In this example, I did the beginning chain in K/10.5 (6.5mm) crochet hook and switched to G/6 (4mm) crochet hook for remainder of the square.
