Row 2: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea of next 3 sts, *ch3, skip 2 sts, 1dc in ea of next 18 sts. Rep from * across, except on last repeat omit last 14 dcs, turn.

Row 3: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in next st, *ch1, skip 1 st, dc in next st, 2sc in next ch3 sp, 1dc in next st, ch1, skip 1 dc, 1dc in ea of next 14 dcs. Rep from * across, except on last repeat omit last 12 dcs, turn.

Row 4: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in next st, *1dc in next ch1 sp, ch1, skip 1 st, 1fpdc around ea of next 2 scs, ch1, skip 1 st, dc in next ch1 sp, 1dc in ea of next 14 dcs. Rep from * across, except on last repeat omit last 12 dcs, turn.

Row 5: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea st or ch across, turn.

Row 6: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea of next 13 dcs, *ch3, skip 2 sts, 1dc in ea of next 18 sts. Rep from * across, except on last repeat omit last 4 sts, turn.

Row 7: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea of next 11 sts, *ch1, skip 1 st, 1dc in next st, 2sc in next ch3 sp, 1dc in next st, ch1, skip 1 st, 1dc in ea of next 14 sts. Rep from * across, except on last repeat, omit last 2 sts, turn.

Row 8: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea of next 11 sts, *1dc in next ch1 sp, ch1, skip 1 st, 1fpdc around ea of next 2 scs, ch1, skip 1 st, dc in next ch1 sp, 1dc in ea of next 14 sts. Rep from * across, except on last repeat, omit last 2 sts, turn.

Row 9: Rep row 5, turn.

Note: Rep rows 2 – 9 for desired length.

Rows 10 – 45: Rep rows 2 – 9 four more times, then rows 2 – 5 once more.

Do not fasten off.

Edging:

Round 1: Ch3 (counts as first dc, 4dc in first st, 1dc in ea st across to last st, 5dc in last st, turn work 90 degrees to work along row end sts, 2dc in ea row end st to next corner, turn work 90 degrees to work along underside of row 1, 5dc in first st, 1dc in ea st across to last st, 5dc in last st, turn work 90 degrees to work along row end sts to next corner, 2dc in ea row end st, slst to top of ch3 at beg of round to join. Fasten off.

Finishing:

Weave in loose ends. Hand wash, block to finished measurements and allow to dry.
