How to Crochet 9-Petal, 3-D Flower FREE Pattern

Materials:
Be So Sporty Yarn; 100% bamboo; 325 yds per 4oz; colorway Purple Haze
G/6 (4mm) crochet hook)

Gauge: not critical for this project

Finished size: flower measures 6″ diameter

Special Stitches:
BPSC: insert the hook from behind and from right to left around the stem (post) of hte appropriate stitch. Wrap yarn around hook and pull up a loop. Pull through both loops on hook.

Instructions:
CH 6, join with sl st to form ring in 6th chain from hook.

Round 1: ch5 (counts as dc and first ch2), *work (dc, ch2) x8 in ring. Join with sl st to 3rd ch of beg ch5. — 9 ch2 sps

Round 2: ch1 sc in same st, *5dc in next ch2 sp, sc in next dc. Repeat from * around.

Round 3: ch1, bpsc around last st on prev round. *Ch5, bpsc in back of next sc (btwn petals). Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to top of bpsc at beg of round.

Round 4: ch1, *work (sc, 7dc, sc) in next ch5 sp. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to
top of first sc at beg of round.

Round 5: ch1, work bpsc around last st on prev round. *ch6, bpsc around post of next 2 scs together.  Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to top of bpsc at beg of round.

Round 6: ch1, *work (sc, 9dc, sc) in next ch6 sp. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to
top of first sc at beg of round.

Round 7: ch1, work bpsc around last st on prev round. *ch7, bpsc around post of next 2 scs together.  Repeat from * around. Join with sls t to top of bpsc at beg of round.

Round 8: ch1, *work (sc2, 11dc, sc) in next ch7 sp. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to
top of first sc at beg of round. Fasten off.

Weave in loose ends.
