This ADORABLE clutch is so easy to whip up using the Tunisian knit stitch. It is so dense you don’t even need to line it! This project is perfect for last minute gifts, too!

Materials:
1 ball of Be So Wild Yarn; 2.5oz per 60 yds; silk, cotton, polyester, kid mohair and sequins; color #6
(2) acrylic purse handles 5” x 3”
L/11 (8mm) tunisian crochet hook
Yarn needle

Finished size: 8” wide x 6” tall, not including handles

Instructions:

Row 1: ch22, insert hook and pick up a loop in 2nd ch from hook and ea ch across. — 21 loops on hook

NOTE: When joining the yarn to begin, make sure you have a long tail for joining to the purse handles later (approx 24”) Return: yo, pull through 1 loop. *yo, pull through 2 loops. Rep from * across.

Row 2: ch1, skip first st, *insert crochet hook into center of next stitch’s 2 vertical bars and pull up a loop. Rep from * across. — 21 loops on hook
This is called Tunisian Knit Stitch (TKS)
Return: yo, pull through 1 loop. *Yo, pull through 2 loops. Rep from * across.

Rows 3 – 28: rep row 2.

Fasten off, leaving long tail for joining to the purse handles (approx 24”).

Assembly: with yarn needle, wrap yarn around purse handle and through each st twice, working across wide end of handle. Secure at end. Repeat for second side. Turn purse inside out and sew both side seams from base all the way up to the purse handle. Weave in loose ends. Turn purse
back to right side facing out.
