Venus: Crochet Beaded Necklace Kit Video & FREE Pattern by Kristin Omdahl

I have had SO MUCH FUN putting together this kit. It is a super simple design but the beauty lies in the simplicity of the crafting and the GORGEOUSNESS of the beads!

I have put together exclusive kits of beautiful, whimsical assorted beads in 4 colorways, and grouped them with my 17 colors of hand dyed Be So Fine Yarn to create a magical, rainbow collection of necklace kits. Order one necklace, or order in quantities of 3, 6, or 10 for deeper discounts. In this kit you will receive enough Be So Fine yarn to make the necklace, 60 assorted beads in exclusive mixes, and a flosser (for a bead needle, in case you don’t already have one).  You will need a crochet hook (B/1, C/2 or D/3 will work), a yarn needle and a pair of scissors. You can wear them long and lean over a tunic or sheath dress, or wrap them twice or 3 times for different looks. I especially love wearing 3 or more necklaces in the same color group together. In this photo, I’m wearing all 5 of the blue/green colorways: Harbor Fog, Stormy Sea, Caribbean Turquoise, Blue Danube and Jaded Peacock. I wrapped them 3 times around my neck for a beautiful, cascading choker-style necklace. I also think it would be really fun to pull 3 colors from your outfit and wear coordinating necklace colors!

What you will need:

1 Venus Beaded Necklace Kit, including Be So Fine Yarn and 60 beads

Beading needle

Yarn needle

Scissors

C/2 (2.75mm) crochet hook

Gauge: not critical for this project, but approx 6 chains = 1”

Finsihed size: necklace measures 60” in circumference

Instructions:
String all 60 beads onto the yarn.

Row 1: *Ch5, slide bead up to crochet hook, ch1 with bead. Rep from * until all beads are used. Slst to first ch at beg of round to join. Fasten off.

Weave in loose ends.
