How to Make Easy & Delicious Breakfast Sausage Egg Cups Free Recipe

How to Make Easy & Delicious Breakfast Sausage Egg Cups Free Recipe
by Kristin Omdahl

We leave our house long before dawn every morning. It is so important to me to serve homemade breakfast, though. Often I try to come up with something I can prepare in advance and simply heat up in the morning.

I have a feeling these little beauties won’t last long enough to need storing, though…

What you will need:
1 lb breakfast sausage
1/2 small onion, minced
6 eggs
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
cracked black pepper to taste (optional)
muffin tin

What to do:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Combine the minced onion and sausage in a bowl and mix thoroughly.

3. Press the sausage/onion mixture evenly into the 12 muffin tin molds. Gently pressing from the center will push the mixture up the sides. You want a thin ‘bowl-like’ shape. Make sure you can’t see the bottom of the muffin tin.

4. Crack the eggs into a bowl and mix.

5. Evenly pour the scrambled eggs into the sausage cups.

6. Evenly sprinkle the cheddar cheese over each cup. Add freshly ground pepper (optional).

7. Bake in oven for 20 – 25 minutes, or until golden brown.

8. Let cool 5 minutes before removing from tins. Use a knife to separate the sausage egg cups from the tin, if necessary.

Enjoy!

xoxo, Kristin
