Ch12.

Row 1: Dc in 3rd ch from hook and in ea ch across, turn. — 10 dcs

Row 2: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea st across. — 10 dcs

Rows 3 – 5: Rep row 2. Do not turn at end of last row.

Row 1: Rotate square 90 degrees, ch3 (counts as first dc), working across row-end sts, dc in first row-end st, 2dc in ea of row-end sts across, turn. — 10 dcs

Rows 2 – 5: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea st across. — 10 dcs. Do not turn at end of last row.

Third Rectangle:

Row 1: Rotate square 90 degrees, ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in first row-end st, 2dc in ea of next 4 row-end sts, working in foundation ch, dc in ea ch across bottom edge of first square, turn. — 20 dcs

Edging: 

Row 1: Working around entire perimeter of project, ch1, sc in same st, *ch3, 2dc-cl in same st, skip 2 sts (or 1 row-end st), sc in next st. Rep from * along long sides. **Ch10, sc in 3rd ch from hook, ch7, sc in next st. Rep from ** along short sides. Slst to top of first sc at beg of round to join. Fasten off.

Finishing:

Sample shown has half of the armhole openings sewn. Adjust the size of the armhole opening for styling preference.

Weave in loose ends. Hand wash, block to finished measurements and allow to dry.

    I love this simple yet beautiful pattern and looks beautiful with your Be So Vivid yarn. I ended up needing 4 balls but I’m bad at not doing a gage swatch. It was close! Lol
