This Floral Crochet Stitch Pattern Free Download is a beautiful and easy to crochet stitch pattern that only uses chain, single crochet and double crochet stitches. It is a multiple of 14 sts. Notice on the two chart variations (included in the free crochet stitch pattern download)that if you start with foundation stitches, the multiple is a perfect 14 sts. If you start with a beginning chain, you will still need to add and additional two chains to accommodate the first double crochet being represented as a ch3 space.

Instructions:
Multiple of 14 sts
Note: If you decide to crochet a beginning chain to start instead of foundation double crochet, add an additional 2 chains to your starting chain (the first 3 chs count as first dc) and dc 2nd st in the 4th ch from hook.
Set up row: FDC 28 or any multiple of 14 sts.
Row 1: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea of next 5 chs, *ch3, skip 2 chs, 1dc in ea of next 12 dcs. Rep from * across, omit last 6 dcs, turn.
Row 2: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea of next 3 dcs, ch3, skip 2 dcs, sc in ch3 sp, *ch3, skip 2 dcs, 1dc in ea of next 8dcs, ch3, skip 2 dcs, sc in ch3 sp. Rep from * across, ch3, skip 2 dcs, 1dc in ea of last 4 dcs, turn.
Row 3: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in next dc, ch3, skip 2 dcs, sc in next ch3 sp, *ch3, sc in next ch3 sp, ch3, skip 2 dcs, 1dc in ea of next 4 dcs, ch3, skip 2 dcs, sc in next ch3 sp. Rep from * across, ch3, sc in next ch3 sp, ch3, skip 2 dcs, 1dc in ea of last 2 dcs.

Row 8: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea of next 7 dcs, *1dc in next dc, ch3, skip 2 dcs, sc in next ch3 sp, ch3, sc in next ch3 sp, ch3, skip 2 dcs, 1dc in ea of next 3 dcs. Rep from * across, 1dc in ea of last 6 dcs.
Row 9: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea of next 5 dcs, *1dc in ea of next 3 dcs, 2dc in next ch3 sp, ch3, sc in next ch3 sp, ch3, 2dc in next ch3 sp, 1dc in next dc. Rep from * across, 1dc in ea of last 8 dcs.
Row 10: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in of next 7 dcs, *1dc in ea of next 3 dcs, 2dc in next ch3 sp, ch3, 2dc in next ch3 sp, 1dc in ea of next 5 dcs. Rep from * across, 1dc in ea of last 6 dcs.
Rep rows 1 – 10 for desired length. Fasten off.
Note: If you plan on working perpendicularly along the end-row stitches, plan for 2 stitch per side of a double crochet or ch3 that counts as a dc.
