Ayla Knit Shawl Pattern by Kristin Omdahl
This is a triangular knit shawl that is worked side to side with an increasing section first, and then a decreasing section. The edging is worked simultaneously with the shawl body for a seamless finish.
What you will need:
- 612 yds (560m) #4 worsted weight yarn
- K/10.5 (6.5mm) knitting needles
- Stitch marker
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
Finished Size:
70 in (177.8cm) wide x 24 in (61cm) long.
Gauge:
12 sts / 14 rows = 4 in (10cm) in stockinette stitch.
Stitch Guide:
Cast on (co), bind off (bo), knit (k), purl (p), yarn over (yo), and slip 1, k2tog, psso (sk2p).
