The Stellaluna Crochet Shawl Pattern is a beautiful crochet shawl worked from the bottom up. The motifs are crocheted first, then the shawl is crocheted in decreasing rows. The pattern is written to be easily adaptable: add more motifs for a larger shawl. The repeat for the rows is an even multiple of 17 sts per motif.

• 612 yds (560m) #4 worsted weight yarn
• K/10.5 (6.5mm) crochet hook
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

56 in (142.2cm) wide x 24 in long.

Gauge: 

Each motif is 9 in (22.9cm) diameter.

Stitch Guide: 

Chain (ch), slip stitch (slst), double crochet (dc), double crochet 2 together (dc2tog), double crochet 3 together (dc3tog), double crochet 4 together (dc4tog), and single crochet (sc).

Chain 3 picot (ch3 picot): Ch3, sc in 3rd ch from hook.

Joining Chain 3 Picot (joining ch3 picot): Ch1, slst to adjacent ch3 picot, ch1 sc in first ch.
