Sea Glass Secrets Mystery Crochet-Along (MCAL) Part 4: Sailboat Square

It’s time for Part 4 of the Sea Glass Secrets Mystery Crochet-Along (MCAL)! ✨ The Sailboat Square

Why the Sailboat Square?

In The Sea Glass Journal, Tess discovers stories of Luca through Evelyn’s writing, including his sailboat — a vessel of both work and longing. The sailboat is a reminder of how journeys shape us, how love and loss can ride the same tide, and how stories can travel across time. Just like our stitches, it carries meaning beyond the surface.

Yarn:

I used Lion Brand One Pound Yarn (worsted weight) for this tutorial. You can use any yarn and crochet hook appropriate for that weight yarn.

Note: For a beginning chain, I like to use a larger hook for hte chain, then switch to my regular hook size for the remainder of the project. In this example, I did the beginning chain in K/10.5 (6.5mm) crochet hook and switched to G/6 (4mm) crochet hook for remainder of the square.
