The latest in Kristin’s Knit Lace Shawl FREE Patterns

I love shawls. I love to design them, I love to knit & crochet them, and I love to style and wear them. I often think of them as wings when I am designing a new lace shawl. And I love to incorporate textures in nature when coming up with the stitch pattern and construction of shawls. I specifically like to use shaping in shawls – whether it is a top down shawl that needs increasing in pattern or a bottom up shawl that needs decreasing in pattern, I find it can be so beautiful texturally when you make the construction part of the design.

I have designed several hundred knit and crochet patterns in my career. And as I begin the big move to getting them all to my website, and changing them all from paid to free patterns, I am having so much fun falling in love with them again! I partnered up with AllFreeKnitting.com to let people know they can now get my knitting patterns for free on my website. You may already be familiar with them, but if not, it’s a great searching tool to find free knitting patterns from all over the web!

My patterns come with the line by line instructions, charts where applicable, and if there is a how-to tutorial on my YouTube Channel that correlates with any particular pattern, I have embedded it right into the pattern page for you to watch along! And as always, I’m just a click away if you have any questions.

I would love to see your creations. Just as much fun as making these myself is the satisfaction I get from seeing my designs come to life and other crochet fans wearing them too. There are now 2 ways you can share what you have done!

  • Share yours by joining  Create. Share. Inspire on Facebook where you can interact with me as well as many other members who have a love of knitting and crochet just like you! It is a wonderful and safe place to share your photos of finished projects in my knitting or crochet patterns or yarns, and to see what others are making, too.
  • I have recently added a wonderful new interactive section to the website which I invite you to take part in, it has been a smashing success and such fun so far. It is the new “Share Your Project” section. You, my creators, can upload images and descriptions of your creations to share with the ever growing community! To upload simply click here.

Additionally, I host a livestreaming podcast weekday on my YouTube Channel called Create Share Inspire Podcast. You can join the audience and even ask me questions LIVE! I often do a show and tell, or quick demo and I always interact with the live audience. It is a lot of fun!

You can browse through over 800 previously recorded episodes HERECreate Share Inspire Podcast Playlist . Make sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel to get reminders when the next episode airs LIVE.

I look forward to seeing what you create!

xoxo,
Kristin
