In this video, I teach you step-by-step how to crochet a simple, four round flower. At the end of the video, I show you how to effectively pin it out for a perfect shape.
Materials:
Kristin Omdahl Yarns Be So Sporty; 100% bamboo; 325 yds per 4oz; color Lilac Memories
H/8 (5mm) crochet hook
Instructions:
Round 1: Ch6, slst to first ch at beg of round to join. ch1, *sc, in ring, ch3. Rep from * 11 more times, slst to first sc at beg of round to join. — 12 ch3 sps
Round 2: slst into first ch3 sp, ch1, sc in same sp, *ch3, sc in next ch3 sp. Rep from * 10 more times, ch1, hdc in first st at beg of round to join (ch1, hdc) counts as the last ch3 sp. — 12 ch3 sps.
Round 3: *ch6, sc in next ch3 sp, ch3, sc in next ch3 sp. Rep from * 4 more times, ch6, sc in next ch3 sp, ch1, hdc in first st at beg of round to join. — 6 ch6 sps, 6 ch3 sps
Round 4: *(5dc, ch3 picot, 5dc) in ch6 sp, sc in ch3 sp, rep from * around, replace last sc with slst to first st at beg of round to join. Fasten off.
