How to Make a Natural, Deep Conditioning Treatment for Hair FREE Recipe

One of my favorite ways to maintain strong, healthy hair is to use a deep conditioning treatment as part of my regular routine. Natural ingredients specifically chosen for their healing properties make the very best product – better than anything you can buy in the store.

I love to study natural ingredients and combine them for specific benefits. In this recipe, I share with you what I use, but more importantly, why the benefits of the ingredients are important. Scroll down past the simple recipe to learn more about these amazing ingredients.

Kristin’s All Natural, Deep Conditioning Treatment for Hair

3 TB organic coconut oil, find it here
1 TB avocado oil, find it here
1 TB Argan oil, find it here
4 drops peppermint essential oil, find it here
2 drops rosemary essential oil, find it here
2 drops lavender essential oil, find it here
2 drops ylang ylang essential oil, find it here

1. Warm up the coconut oil to a softened stage.

2. Combine all ingredients into a bowl.

3. Mix to combine.

4. Apply to wet hair, from roots to tips, using a smooth and gentle motion.

5. Massage into scalp for 5 minutes.

6. Leave on for 1 hour (preferably in the sun or under a dryer with a heating cap).

7. Rinse off with cool water to close the hair cuticles.

Repeat weekly or monthly.

Hair Health Benefits of the Natural Ingredients:

Coconut Oil: this ingredient keeps your hair strong, soft and aides in preventing hair loss. It has anti-viral, anti-mocrobial and anti-fungal properties, too. It is a strong moisturizer because it does not break down or evaporate quickly.

Avocado Oil: This ingredient is an amazing anti-oxidant moisturizer that also has anti-inflammatory properties and aides in soothing itchy scalps. It is filled with vitamins. It is also known to be good for preventing eczema and hair loss.

Argan Oil: this ingredient makes hair softer, silkier and shinier. It helps to treat split ends and tame frizzy hair.

Peppermint Essential Oil: this ingredient stimulates the scalp, promotes hair growth and can treat dandruff. It is anti-microbial and combats bacteria and fungal disorders.

Rosemary Essential Oil: this ingredient promotes thickness and growth of hair. It stimulates the roots, and increases circulation in the scalp. It can prevent baldness, slows graying and can be used to treat dandruff and dry scalp. It is anti-microbial and combats bacteria and fungal disorders.

Lavender Essential Oil: this ingredient promotes hair growth. It is a deep conditioner for the hair. It keeps it shiny and helps to control dandruff. It is anti-microbial and combats bacteria and fungal disorders.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil: this ingredient is a natural conditioner that prevents split ends and damage. It also prevents hair loss, and stimulate hair growth. It is great for treating thinning hair. It is anti-microbial and combats bacteria and fungal disorders.
