You can spruce up ANY store bought top with crochet! A simple tank top, sleeveless top or sleeveless dress can be transformed into something spectacular with this simple half-circle crochet lace motif.

What you will need:
1 Be So Fine Yarn TIDBIT, shown in Raven
F/5 (3.75mm) crochet hook
Sharp yarn needle

Gauge: 4dc = 1″ after blocking

Finished sizes: 14″ wide x 7″ long

Instructions:
Row 1: ch4, slst to 4th ch from hook to form ring. Ch3 (counts as dc), work 8 dc in ring. — 9 dcs

Row 2: ch3 (counts as dc), 2dc in same st, *ch1, skip 1 st, 3dc in next st. Rep from * across. — 15 dcs

Row 3: ch1, sc in same st, ch7, skip 1 st, *1sc ea in next (st, ch1 sp, st), ch7, skip 1 st. Rep from * three more times, ch7, skip 1 st, sc in last st. — 5 ch7 sps

Row 4: *In next ch7 sp work (sc, hdc, 2dc, 5tr, 2dc, hdc, sc). Rep from * across.

Row 5: slst in ea of next 6 sts, ch3 (counts as dc), dc in same st, in next st work (2dc, ch3, 2dc), 2dc in next st, *ch3, skip next 10 sts, 2dc in next st, (2dc, ch3, 2dc) in next st, 2dc in next st. Rep from * to end.

Row 6: slst into first ch3 sp, ch6 (counts as dc, ch3), dc in same sp, *ch3, (tr, ch3, tr) in next ch3 sp, ch3, (dc, ch3, dc) in next ch3 sp. Rep from * across. — 17 ch3 sps

Row 7: ch1, sc in first ch3 sp, *(4dc, ch3, 4dc) in next ch3 sp, sc in next ch3 sp. Rep from * across. — 8 shells

Row 8: ch1, sc in sc, *ch3, (4dc, ch3, 4dc) in next ch3 sp, ch3, sc in next sc. Rep from * across. — 8 shells

Row 9: ch1, sc in sc, *ch5, (4dc, ch3, 4dc) in next ch3 sp, ch5, sc in next sc. Rep from * across. — 8 shells

Fasten off. Weave in loose ends. Hand wash, block to finished measurements and let dry.

Sew to sleeve opening on any tank top or sleeveless dress!
