Tender Vesper Knit Cowl FREE Pattern

This colorful cowl is worked in the round with slip stitch mosaic color technique. Even though the checkered pattern looks complicated, you only use one color of yarn per round!

What you will need:
Be So Tender Yarn: 1 ball in color A Denim,  1 ball in color B Fog, 1 ball in color C Mulberry
US10 (6mm) circular knitting needles
stitch marker (optional)

Gauge: 4 sts / 5 rows = 1″

Finished size: 7” tall x 24” circumference

Instructions:
with color A, CO 100 sts, place marker (pm) join in a ring, being careful not to twist.
Round 1: knit around, slip marker (sm). — 100 sts
Round 2: with color B, *k2, slip 2 sts with yarn in back. Rep from * around.
Round 3: rep round 2.
Round 4: with color C, *slip 2 sts with yarn in back, k2. Rep from * around.
Round 5: rep round 4.
Round 6: with color A, *k2, slip 2 sts with yarn in back. Rep from * around.
Round 7: rep round 6.
Round 8: with color B, *slip 2 sts with yarn in back, k2. Rep from * around.
Round 9: rep round 8.
Round 10: with color C, *k2, slip 2 sts with yarn in back. Rep from * around.
Round 11: rep round 10.
Round 12: with color A, *slip 2 sts with yarn in back, k2. Rep from * around.
Round 13: rep round 12.
Rounds 14 – 25: Rep rounds 2 – 13 once more.
Rounds 25 – 31: rep rounds 2 – 7 once more
Round 32: with yarn A, knit around.
BO all sts loosely.

Weave in loose ends. Hand wash, block to finished measurements and let dry.
