What you will need:
- 300 yds #3 dk weight yarn
- H/8 (5mm) crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Scissors

Lion Brand Mandala Sparkle Yarn; 98% acrylic / 2% metallic polyester, #3 dk weight yarn; 328 yds (300m) per 3.5 oz (100g) ball; shown in color Aquila, 1 ball.
Gauge:
14 sts = 4 in (10 cm) in Row 7-8 stitch pattern.
Finished Size:
22 in (55.9cm) circumference x 10 in (25.4cm) tall
Stitch Guide:
Chain (ch), double crochet (dc), single crochet (sc), foundation single crochet (fsc), and front post treble crochet (fptr).
Pattern notes:
- This pattern uses US terminology.
- Weave in loose ends as work progresses
- Do not turn work at the end of each round.

Instructions:
Round 1: FSC 75, slst to join. – 75 scs
Note: Make sure the foundation row is not twisted before joining.
Note: Rounds 2 – 4 are worked in a spiral, not joining at the end of these rounds.
Rounds 2 – 5: Sc in ea st around, do not join, except on last round (5), slst in next st at end of round. – 75 scs
Round 6: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea st around, slst to top of ch3 at beg of round to join. – 75 dcs
Round 7: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea of next 2 sts, fptr around post of 2nd to last dc in row below, *skip next 3 sts, fptr around post of 4th st from hook in row below, working behind last post st, dc in last skipped st and ea of next 2 sts, fptr around the same dc post used for the previous fptr. Rep from * around, skip next 3 sts, fptr around post of same st as first fptr at beg of round, slst to top of ch3 at beg of round to join.
Round 8: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea of next 2 sts, fptr around post of 2nd to last dc in row below, *skip next 3 sts, fptr around post of 4th st from hook in row below, working behind last post st, dc in last skipped st and ea of next 2 sts, fptr around the same dc post used for the previous fptr. Rep from * around, skip next 3 sts, fptr around the same dc post used for the previous fptr at beg of round, slst to top of ch3 at beg of round to join.
Rounds 9 – 23: Rep round 8 fifteen more times.
Note: Rounds 24 – 27 are worked in a spiral, not joining at the end of these rounds. Join with a slst at the end of Round 28.
Rounds 24 – 28: Ch1, sc in ea st around, do not join, except on last round (28), slst in next st at end of round. – 75 scs
Fasten off.
Finishing:
Weave in loose ends. Hand wash, block to finished measurements and allow to dry.
