High Priced Designer Handbags Have Nothing on These Do It Yourself Artisan Pieces

The fun and funky Queen B Fringe Bag Crochet Pattern

In recent years handbags and purses have become far more than just a way to carry around your money, credit cards, phone, and keys. They have become a defining fashion accessory. Many women love handbags and have an assortment to match different outfits and for a wide variety of occasions.

Designer handbags have become a social status marker, coveted and featured in magazines, ads, movies, and on television. A beautiful bag can be a lovely complement to an outfit; but many of these designer label bags can be astronomically pricey ranging from hundreds to to tens of thousands of dollars.

While we may all like the look of these inspiring designs, not all of us want to pay that price. Thanks to a little bit of creativity and practice at your craft, you don’t have to. I have created patterns for some stunning carry along bags to knit and crochet that look high end, but can be created at a fraction of the cost of a high-end designer bag.
