Picot Bind Off is a great knitting technique for a decorative and stretchy edge. And it is really easy to do, too! It is also very easy to modify for various knitting patterns, too.

In the video below, my repeat is KCO 3, BO 7. Because my stitch pattern is a multiple of four stitches, the difference between the KCO and the BO is 4. 7 – 3 = 4.

  • If your stitch pattern is a multiple of 3, your picot bind off could be KCO 3, BO 6.
  • If your stitch pattern is multiple of 7 sts, your picot bind off could be KCO 3, BO 10.
  • If your stitch pattern is a multiple of 8, this is also a multiple of 4, so you could use my original method of KCO 3, BO 7.

As you can see, this is a very easy to modify knit bind off technique.
