This is a spectacularly fun and festive use of colorwork and lace in a crochet shawl. You can make this gorgeous shawl in one color or use a trio of colors for extra fun! This top down construction hexagon-shaped shawl moves quickly with an easy to memorize stitch pattern. The color sequence and ornate edging are simple to learn and add a lot of dramatic flair.

What you will need:

• 650 yds (594m) of #1 superfine, fingering weight yarn, shown in Be So Fine Yarn TIDBITS; 100% bamboo; 215 yds (196m) per 1.3oz (36gm) ball; color A: 215 yards shown in color Calypso Lime, 1 tidbit, color B: 215 yards shown in color Lavender’s First Romance , 1 tidbit, and color C: 215 yards shown in color Caribbean Turquoise ,1 tidbit.

• F/5 (3.5mm) crochet hook

• Yarn needle

• Scissors

Gauge: 5 dcs = 1″ after blocking, but gauge is not critical for this project

Finished Size: 62 in (157cm) wide x 24 in (61cm) long
