As a woman who wears her hair long, I can totally appreciate the messy bun hat movement! This is a wonderful way to accessorize a bun or ponytail hairstyle and look super cute in a hat at the same time! I like making them from the top down, working the first round of stitches around a pony tail holder. This hat has a lot of stretch and holds its shape beautifully.

What you will need:

• 160 (176, 194, 213) yds or  146.3 (161, 177.4, 194.8)m #4 worsted weight yarn
• H/8 (5mm) crochet hook, or size needed to obtain gauge.
• Yarn needle
• Hairband ponytail holder, medium
• Scissors
