Tilly Knit Lace Scarf or Cowl Free Pattern

Tilly Knit Lace Scarf or Cowl Free Pattern
by Kristin Omdahl

This is a super simple lace stitch pattern that is reversible due to the nature of the row count being odd numbered. The seven row lace stitch pattern is repeated two times per one repeat of the lace edging that is worked simultaneously with the scarf. The stitch count of the lace pattern is a multiple of two, so the width of the scarf could easily be modified for a shawl, afghan or other size project. The edging changes stitch count each row to create the lovely scalloped effect.

Wear it as a necklace scarf, a cowl, or even a headwrap scarf. The drape of the bamboo is lightweight and incredibly drapey. Perfect for a summery accessory!
