What you will need:

  • 1420 yds (1300m) #3 dk weight yarn
  • H/8 (5mm) crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

Shown in: 

Be So Baby Yarn; 100% milk fiber; 142 yds (130m) per 1.75 oz (50gm) ball; color Lime, 10 balls.

Gauge:

14 sts / 6 rows = 4 in (10cm) in blocked lace stitch pattern.

Finished Size:

39 in (99cm) wide x 24 in (61cm) long, with 12 in (30.5cm) wide neck opening.

Row 1: Join with slst to last dc in bottom corner of  front (see schematic), ch3 (counts as dc), work 2dc in ea row-end st across front.

Row 2: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea st across.

Row 3: Ch1, *sc in ea of next 2 sts, (ch3, 4dc-cl, ch3, slst) in same st, 1sc in ea of next 2 sts. Rep from * across. Fasten off.

Front Shoulders:

Row 1: Join with slst to first dc at corner along top edge of triangle, ch3 (count as dc), 2dc in ea row-end st for 18 rows. — 37 sts

Row 2: Ch3 (counts as dc), 1dc in ea st across.

Row 3: Ch1, sc in same st, *ch3, skip 2 sts, sc in next st. Rep from * across. Fasten off.
