6 All Natural Cleaning Free Recipes with Be So Clean Soap by Kristin Omdahl
Be So Clean is a gentle, non-toxic, pure vegetable based soap. To use for safely hand washing your clothes, simply squirt a small amount into a basin of lukewarm water and stir to distribute. Add your garment, and allow to soak for about 20 minutes. Swirl to release dirt, rinse with clean water and express excess water. Recipe #1 Foaming Hand Soap Recipe
This is an economical option for hand washing. Foaming dispensers use less soap, and people use less water to lather foaming soaps. Foaming soaps save up to 50% of the water used during traditional hand washing.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Be So Clean Soap
2 cups warm water
Foaming hand soap bottle and pump, found here
Instructions:
Mix 1 part liquid soap with 4 parts water in a foaming soap dispenser.
Slowly mix by gently turning soap dispenser until incorporated.
Shake gently again, as needed, to recombine.
Recipe #2 Soft Scrub Recipe
This cleans sinks, tiles, toilets, tubs and helps tackle mold and mildew, too.
Ingredients:
1 cup Be So Clean Soap
3⅓ cups baking soda
1 cup water
¼ cup white vinegar

Instructions:
In a big bowl, combine the baking soda with the Be So Clean Soap.
Mix it with a fork until well blended and no lumps remain.
Add in the water and mix thoroughly again.
Add in the vinegar and keep stirring until no lumps remain.
Pour the solution into an empty quart bottle, using a funnel.
To use this, squirt it over the surface and wipe with a damp microfiber cloth. Rinse with a wet cloth.
Recipe #3 Body Scrub Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Be So Clean Soap
1/4 cup Honey
1/4 cup Olive Oil
2 tsp vegetable glycerin, found here

Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in pump bottle and shake gently.
Shake gently again, as needed, to recombine.
Recipe #4 Body Wash Recipe
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Be So Clean Soap
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk (thoroughly combined)
1 tsp vegetable glycerin, found here
Bottle with pump-style lid
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in pump bottle and shake gently.
Shake gently again, as needed, to recombine.
Recipe #5 All Purpose Cleaning Spray Recipe
This is great for cleaning counters, microwave, tubs, tiles, floors and more.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Be So Clean Soap
6 cups water
5 – 10 drops essential oils**

** Customize your own scent by adding essential oils to the unscented Be So Clean Soap. Otherwise choose from one of my lovely natural scents, made with essential oils.
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a big bowl or jug.
Stir and pour into labeled spray bottles.
Keep a bottle under the sink in bathrooms, the kitchen and the laundry room.
Shake gently again as needed to recombine.
Recipe #6 Produce Wash Recipe
This is an economical option that not only costs significantly less than store bought washes, but eliminates the plastic container you would purchase with a store-bought produce wash, too!
Ingredients:
Small squirt of Be So Clean Soap
Sink full of water
Instructions:
Fill sink with water.
Add 1 small squirt of Be So Clean Soap.
Swirl to combine.
Add fresh fruit and veggies to sink.
Note: Firm-skinned produce needs warm water, a mild scrub and rinse. Soft-skinned produce needs to only soak for a couple of minutes. Rinse with fresh water.
Shake gently again as needed to recombine.
