Elizabeth’s Giada Crochet Shawl Project
Made by: Elizabeth Gabler
Pattern: Giada Crochet Shawl Pattern by Kristin Omdahl
Yarn: Caron Cotton Ripple Cakes
This is the Giada Shawl made in a variegated cotton yarn. The design was so pretty, just like the last two I made, but a different texture all together fabulous! It has become my go to pattern, everyone should try it! Thanks so much Kristin for creating it!
Yarn: Lionbrand Mandala Ombre yarn in green
Heres my third Giada shawl and its so warm and cuddly. I decided to add a homemade tassel and hanging charms on it. The design works so well with any yarn and its so unique that many people have complimented me on the shawl design. I always tell them about Kristin’s create, share, and inspire You Tube tutorials and yarns. I can happily say that I have a Giada shawl for every season. Kristin, please keep designing those amazing styles and easy to read, large print, and sketched instructions that make projects so enjoyable to make! Happy crocheting!

Very pretty. Looks like you had a lot of fun with this pattern.
Yes Jerilyn, once you practice a pattern over and over, it becomes easy to use on any yarn. I had tons of fun each time I made one! Thanks for your comment.
I love and it and the colors
Thanks Lisa, I enjoyed making this pattern in different yarns sizes and colors. Enjoyed the variegated yarn color because it comes out different every time. Thanks for the compliment!
Love the color and the pattern! So much fun to make with all the different stitches!
Yes Terry, Kristen’s projects are enjoyable to make and so functional! Everyone should make one.
Beautiful! And I love the added tassle.
Thanks suebhs2002, I initially thought to put two tassels but switched to only one because I wanted to swing it over the side of the shawl as a design element. Happy crochet!
