If you love lace crochet that feels both relaxing and rewarding, the Tiana Tunic is one of those projects you’ll want to savor.
This sampler-style crochet top is worked in a series of beautiful stitch patterns—shells, fans, mesh, and clusters—that come together in a lightweight, flowing fabric with incredible texture and movement. Each section keeps your hands engaged while still being rhythmic enough to enjoy the process.
What makes this design especially fun is the construction. The front panels are worked directly from the back with no shaping, allowing the neckline to form naturally as you crochet. It’s simple, intuitive, and satisfying—no complicated math or guesswork.
Because the stitch repeat is large, this pattern is designed to be customized through gauge instead of stitch counts, giving you flexibility to create the fit you want without disrupting the lace pattern.
Whether you’re making a breezy tunic for warm weather or layering it as a vest, this is a piece you’ll reach for again and again.
