Note: these are the two flaps that will wrap around the posts of the purse frame. Leave a long tail when you fasten off at the end of each row 20. With these tails, sew the flap to the bag from the inside, around the posts of the frame.

Round 3: ch1, sc in same sp, *work 1 sc in ea of next 3 sts, in next ch5 sp work [(sc, ch5)x3, sc], work 1 sc in ea ov next 4 sts. Repeat from * around. Fasten off.

Tier 5 Edging:
Round 1: join with sl st to any free loop of round 16 of bag. ch1, sc in same sp, work 1 sc in ea of next 3 sts. ch4, sl st in 3rd ch from hook, (ch3, sl st in 3rd ch from hook) x2, sl st in 1st ch of original ch4, work 1 sc in ea of next 4 sts. * ch4, sl st in 3rd ch from hook, (ch3, sl st in 3rd ch from hook) x2, sl st in 1st ch of original ch4.

Repeat from * around. Join with sl st to top of 1st sc at beg of round. Fasten off.
Handle: with smaller hook, fsc 60 sts. Note: you can make a chain, but I found it to be
too difficult to insert hook into the chain spaces after putting so many sts in the space before.

Row 1: ch3, work [(dc, ch1)x4, dc] in each stitch across. Fasten off leaving long tail for securing to purse frame loops.

Sew and secure one end of the handle to the small metal loop on one side of the frame. Wrap and tie several times to secure. Wind the corkscrew around and around until it
is a tightly wound corkscrew. Holding the twist in place, secure the other end of the corkscrew handle to the opposite metal loop on the frame.

Weave in loose ends. Hand wash, block to finished measurements and let dry.
