Amarket bag is a thoughtful and conscientious gift. Fill it with flowers or a harvest of special items from your local farmers’ market. Or make several bags and roll each of them up tightly inside one of the bags to give a set of reuseable grocery bags.

This project features one ball of Be So Soulful Yarn, a #2 sock/sport weight yarn. It comes 380 yards per 3.5 oz (100g) ball and is a blend of 87% bamboo / 13% Sorona.

Sorona an eco-efficient performance fiber. We use it in place of nylon in our sock yarn because of its enormous benefits including the fact It is based from corn and not petroleum – giving it a significantly reduced carbon footprint compared to nylon. It is what adds the stretch to the yarn and makes it perfect for socks or other projects that get regular, rough use.! Sorona is extremely soft yet extremely durable. Sonora is insulating, quick dry, and It adds a loftiness to the bamboo. Bamboo is anti-microbial, moisture wicking and cool. We blend these two fibers together to create a fantastic sock yarn.

These are the new, hand dyed colors of Be So Soulful Yarn. I hand dye them personally in my Florida studio.

Be So Soulful Yarn is also machine washable and dry-able on gentle and low heat settings. As with any delicate handmade item, washing with Wrapture all natural delicate wash and a laundry bag is recommended.
