by Kristin Omdahl
The beautiful center lace gusset on this shawl is bordered by 2 lace side sections, and it features an exquisite lace edging that is deceptively easy to crochet. Made using Kristin Omdahl Yarns Be So Fine fingering-weight bamboo yarn. Instructions are included for sizes S (M, L). Requires 1 (2, 2) ball(s) in the color celestial blue mist. Design by Kristin Omdahl for Annie’s Signature Designs.

-
Soak the shawl in the water until it is absorbed, about 5 minutes.

Squeeze out excess water but be careful not to twist.
-
Shape the shawl to the finished measurements on a blocking mat.
-
Weave blocking wires in and out of all 3 perimeter edges of shawl.
-
Pin wires to mat, shaping the shawl to finished measurements.

Let dry. Circulating air will reduce drying time – this can be done with a ceiling fan or oscillating floor fan.
